The exhibition industry is evolving from a space for showcasing products and services into a business platform that brings together buyers and sellers, investors, technology and knowledge from around the world.
The focus is shifting from simply “organising events” to “creating value for the country and the region”. Success can no longer be measured solely by visitor numbers, exhibition space or the number of exhibiting companies. Greater attention must be given to the quality of participants, opportunities to connect businesses with the right partners, and the commercial value and collaboration that can continue long after an event has ended.
Against this backdrop, the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) is advancing Thailand’s exhibition industry through the Meet Exponential campaign under the concept “Connecting Businesses for Exponential Growth”, with the 4Es strategy serving as a key development framework.
The aim is for exhibitions held in Thailand to do more than bring people from around the world together. They should also translate those connections into tangible opportunities for Thai businesses, target industries and the national economy.
The goal, therefore, is not simply to make Thailand’s exhibition industry “bigger”, but to make each event more valuable and capable of delivering long-term outcomes for organisers, exhibitors, buyers and Thai businesses.
