Ayutthaya Province had been the capital city of Siam for 400 years. Many critical ancient remains are situated here. On 13 December 1991, UNESCO had the resolution to registered the Ayutthaya Historical Park as the “World Heritage City” (UNESCO World Heritage Sites); it occupies a total area of 3,000 rai under the name “Historic City of Ayutthaya”.
Aside from the ancient remains, Ayutthaya has other cultural and agricultural tourist sites, such as Sufficiency Economy Learning Center: BAN-KONG-POR. There is also a beautiful special venue for MICE events representing Thai uniqueness, such as Baan Thai Khlong Sra Bua. Moreover, a variety of accommodation is available, from the homestay to learn about the community path, such as Khlong Rang Jorakae Home Stay, to the luxurious 5-Star hotels.
