FAPA 2026

This international academic conference is jointly organised by the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA) and The Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage (PAT).

The conference aims to promote international knowledge exchange and discussion on key issues related to the pharmacy profession and healthcare systems. Topics will include advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and their growing role in transforming patient care, the role of pharmacists in telehealth services, and the modern application of Thai herbal medicines.

The event will also feature an exhibition comprising approximately 30 booths from organisations and industry partners. The exhibition is designed to foster innovation, knowledge sharing, and collaborative networking, while showcasing advanced pharmaceutical products, services, and healthcare technologies.

More than 2,000 participants are expected to attend from a wide range of sectors, including:

Pharmacists from hospitals, community pharmacies, and specialised organisations
Pharmacy profession leaders and pharmacy council representatives from more than 24 FAPA member countries
Academics and researchers from universities and research institutions, including lecturers, researchers, and students
Industry representatives, including scientists and specialists from biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in Thailand and overseas
Government representatives and public health officials involved in healthcare system development and public health policy

Previous FAPA Congresses have been held in several countries and territories, including the Republic of Korea (2024), Taiwan (2023), Malaysia (2022 and 2020), Thailand (2016), Malaysia (2014), and Indonesia (2012).

Thailand will host the FAPA Congress for the fifth time in 2026, having previously hosted the event in 1972, 1986, 1994, and 2004.
